Bingo takes place in the Ballroom every Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m., every Sunday at 3 p.m. Admission is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Members have a chance to win the full jackpot and nonmembers a half jackpot.

The JBSA-Lackland Skylark Community Center is now offering the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira. Register for $15 per person, per class or $50 per person, per month. Registration is open until all spaces are filled. Classes are open to all DOD ID cardholders with access to JBSA-Lackland. Classes combine elements of dance, acrobatics and music. Calling all master builders!!! It's time to create the ultimate masterpiece. September 2019 - May 2020 you can construct anything you'd like using different building block sets at the JBSA-Randolph Library. The Murder Mystery escape room game everyone's talking about is a live‐action team‐based game where players cooperatively discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks! This FREE event will be at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Keith A. Campbell Memorial Library from Sept. 7 to Sept. 28 by reservation only. You have 60 minutes to solve the case or the murder will run free! Every week, highest number of correct picks wins! Pick-em sheets available at the METC Fitness and Sports Center. Return completed sheet by Thursday at 3 p.m. (each week) and winner will be announced Tuesday morning (each week). Tie Breaker will be closest pick over/under total score Monday night game. JBSA-Lackland Gateway Hills Golf Course hosts this event open to all. Chose from a 10-12 ounce boneless ribeye or grilled chicken breast including sides. Sides are mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables and a roll for only $16. Reservations are required. Payments taken at time of reservation. Must make reservations by 2 p.m. Reservations made after 2 p.m. are $18. Also available are chicken strips and fries for $7 or chicken wings and fries for $8.75. All steaks are cooked to medium rare or medium.

Everybody is invited to participate in this fun but challenging event at the JBSA-Randolph Rambler Fitness Center during normal operating hours. Each participant must complete 15-mile treadmill/indoor track walk/run, 30-mile stationary bike and 5-mile row in order to complete the challenge. Pick up your indoor triathlon challenge tracking booklet from the Rambler Fitness Center staff. As you complete each challenge please have a fitness team member initial that item before moving on.

If you are a parent and want to be involved with improving youth programs, please join the Quality Improvement Team (QIT) and the Parent Advisory Board (PAB). Participants will provide recommendations and feedback for improving programs and communicate information through discussion with management and leadership. The 4th Quarter Meeting will be on Sept. 18, 5:30-7 p.m. at School Age Center Bldg. 1703 and the 1st Quarter Meeting will be on Nov. 19, 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.

JBSA-Lackland Kelly Fitness Center hosts the outdoor basketball 3-point contest. This is a free event, open to all DOD ID cardholders or all eligible patrons ages 16 and older. No preregistration is required. Gamers play rounds 1 and 2 on Sept. 7; and rounds 3, 4 and the championship on Sept. 14, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Shooters have 45-seconds to shoot 12 shots from each of the 5 positions. This event will take place at Fort Sam Houston Patch/Chaffee Youth Center (YP2) from Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. to Sept. 21 at 7 a.m. It will be a night full of activities, food, games, prizes and even a trip! $10 per student. JBSA-Randolph Youth Programs and the Child Development Programs give parents a much needed break through the Give Parents a Break or Parents’ Night Out program. The cost is $25 per child with a multiple-child discount or free with a Give Parents a Break referral. Deadline to register is Wednesday prior to program date and a minimum of eight participants is required for the program to be held.

The club championship consists of three groups (Championship, Open and Senior). The number of flights in the Open and Senior division depends on participation. The Air Force Services Center proudly presents a Night of Variety & Comedy. This is a free show for the whole family. Rambler 120 is designed as a team event to build esprit de corps among units, improve fitness levels and foster an enjoyment of the outdoors. Team members compete in a 22-mile bike ride, six-mile run, two-mile rafting trip and a mystery event announced the day of the race. The event is held at the Joint base San Antonio Recreation Park at Canyon Lake on October 5th at 7:30 a.m. Early bird registration is available until September 13th. Participants can join individually or as teams of 4 or 8.

JBSA-Lackland Warhawk Fitness Center offers basketball shooters some friendly competition. This event is open to all DOD ID cardholders with no registration required. Shooters get 60-seconds to shoot five balls from three positions around the 3-point arc. Competitors under age 18 and are allowed 90-seconds to shoot from three positions. Join us in our annual JBSA Oktoberfest at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston parking lot in front of the Military and Family Readiness Center, Bldg. 2797.
