Get an Annual Pass and enjoy the wonderful outdoors at JBSA Canyon Lake Recreation Park for an entire year. This pass ($65) gets you into both Sunny Side and Hancock Cove sides of the park. Annual passes include a vehicle and boat/trailer pass. Pass is valid for one year from date of issue. Without annual pass entry fee to the park is $7 per visit, per vehicle. If your age is 13-18 years and you’re looking for something to do this summer, join JBSA-Randolph Youth Programs Teen Summer Camps! Registration starts May 1 and will remain open until full. Register at Youth Programs, bldg. 585, 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Mon-Fri. Camp runs every Mon.-Fri. from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Price is $130 a week which includes breakfast, lunch, entry fees and supplies! Want to have fun this summer? Join our SUMMER CAMP! We will have a lot of activities, field trips and great fun! Bingo News
Bingo takes place in the Ballroom every Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m., every Sunday at 3 p.m. Admission is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Members have a chance to win the full jackpot and nonmembers a half jackpot.

$15,000 in total bingo jackpots, with a complimentary buffet at 5 p.m. and Early Bird Bingo is at 6 p.m.

Sign up for the British Open Blind Draw Tournament, which is an individual low net/low gross tournament. A PGA Pro is drawn from the British Open to combine scores with. Come out to Canyon Lake July 20th at 10 a.m. for FREE Parasailing! This is an exciting trip of parasailing at Canyon Lake where you can glide past breathtaking birdseye views of the lake. Open to any active duty military and dependents. Space is limited to 24. Transportation will be provided if needed. The JBSA-Lackland Gateway Club hosts an evening of dining and entertainment by DJ LJU in the Fiesta Ballroom on July 23rd from 5-7 p.m. The price for members is $12.50 and for nonmembers is $15.50. Celebrate July birthdays with us at the Parr Club for a complimentary lunch buffet. There is no cost for the birthday member. The cost is $12 for adult guests and $6 for their children ages 6-12. Can you believe it? Summer is almost over and it's time to buy supplies and get ready for school! What better way to gear up for the new school year than to join us at out 2019 Back to School Bash at the JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Youth Programs, bldg. 1630 on August 3 from 9-11 a.m. FREE school supplies are provided for K-8th grade (while supplies last). Come enjoy a fun filled morning with giveaways and music while getting scholastic provisions. You must bring a DoD ID card, your children (child) and a backpack to collect supplies.

There is no membership needed to participate in clubs, activities, and open recreation. (Does not include instructional classes, league sports, and School Age Programs). Stop by for a monthly calendar of Youth Programs activities to see what's offered this week.

Format is a two-player team event. On holes 1-6, teams play a two-player scramble. On holes 7-12, teams play a modified alternate shot and on holes 13-18, teams play best ball. The cost is $20 per person plus green fees and cart rental. A $30 late fee applies to sign ups after Aug. 15. Registration opens June 10. All teams must pay entry fee first, then register at https://defenderscup.leagueapps.com/tournament. Open to all base/post-level soccer teams representing any service installation. This is World Cup style tournament play. FIFA laws apply with free substitutions. Full tournament by-laws provided at a later date.

If you are a parent and want to be involved with improving youth programs, please join the Quality Improvement Team (QIT) and the Parent Advisory Board (PAB). Participants will provide recommendations and feedback for improving programs and communicate information through discussion with management and leadership. The 4th Quarter Meeting will be on Sept. 18, 5:30-7 p.m. at School Age Center Bldg. 1703 and the 1st Quarter Meeting will be on Nov. 19, 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
